Where is the Tattoo Studio?

I work at Wild Hope Tattoo Studio in Folkestone, Kent.

If you're travelling to the studio via public transport; the studio is about a 5 minute walk from the  Folkestone central bus station and an approx 10-15min walk from the closest train station.

If you are driving there are plenty of parking options; including Payers car park (which is a short stay car park and therefore not suitable for longer sessions).

As well as Middelburg car park and Asda car park which are good for longer days and days out in Folkestone.

FAQ

Booking In:

  • Please refer to my booking form to enquire.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Please arrive on time to your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late for you appointment you will need to book for another time and pay a new deposit.

  • All custom designs are shown the day before your appointment.

Moles and Scars:

  • I cannot tattoo over moles and some scaring will need to be discussed before your appointment. If you are unsure about scaring, please contact me to see if I can tattoo this area.

Numbing Cream:

  • I would not recommend using numbing cream as this can affect how your tattoo heals.

  • If you do decide to use numbing cream, I would highly recommend patch testing the product on yourself several days beforehand to see whether you have a bad reaction.

  • If there are any issues or concerns, please contact me so that we can discuss this further.

Important preparation before your tattoo:

  • Please ensure you are nice and clean! Showering with an antibacterial soap beforehand is great.

  • Moisture the area that you are tattooing for a week before your tattoo.

  • Eat before your tattoo appointment! I’d always encourage bringing any sugary drinks or snacks with you (I do have some lollipops on hand too)

  • Please do not heavily drink alcohol the evening before your appointment,

  • Please make sure that you are dressed comfortably in clothing that allows me to reach the area we are tattooing.

  • Please do not use fake tanning products one week before your appointment

  • Do not sunbathe or use a sun bed before your appointment. I cannot tattoo skin that is sunburnt.

  • I cannot tattoo you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • I’d recommend allowing a significant amount of time after your tattoo appointment. The tattoo is an art and therefore sometimes can take longer than anticipated - I wouldn't want you to ruin any dinner reservations you may have! haha

  • Hand and feet tattoos often require more than one touch-up as the skin heals differently to other body parts. Any touch ups for these body parts with be charged at my minimum price.

When are you available?

I Tattoo Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

However, if you struggle to do any of these dates, in some circumstances I can make a custom appointment for a day that suits you :)
