What happens If I have Moles and Scarring?
-
I cannot tattoo over moles and some scarring will need to be discussed before your appointment. If you are unsure about scarring, please contact me to see if I can tattoo this area. In general if the scars are fully healed, they will look white and not pink and not too raised. Considering a design that suits the texture of scarring is advised which we can chat about! :)

Can I use Numbing Cream?
-
I would not recommend using numbing cream as this can affect how the tattoo heals, especially when tattooing with colour.
-
However, I understand everyone has different pain thresholds and if you feel like you need the numbing cream, please get in touch before your appointment. I would highly recommend patch testing your cream several days before to make sure you do not have a reaction.

What If I have Plans Around my tattoo?
-
If you are visiting Folkestone for the day it's fair that you might have plans like dinner reservations etc. When booking in I will give you an approx time it will take to do. However sometimes things can take longer or shorter than planned due to multiple factors. Please just bare this in mind by giving a couple hours after your appointment (Can't rush art!)
-
If you are going on holiday after your tattoo, please book the tattoo in before with enough time for it to heal properly around 6 weeks (especially if you're going on a sunshine and swimming holibobs!) You do not want to risk infection and the tattoo healing badly. I cannot offer a free-touch up on these occasions.

How Does your pricing work?
-
When quoting your tattoo I will typically price it by the piece but it is also based around an hourly rate (£70 an hour). Sometimes tattoos end up being bigger on the day or just take longer due to details etc. Based on this I will often give you a price range so that you are aware if it may cost more.
